Make money

How to earn Rinacoins on skyblock: the pit, jobs, farms, factories, spawners, the Auction House, the Void Chest. What to do first, and how to stack it all.

Rinacoins pay for everything: your upgrades, your factories, your ranks. This guide lines up every way to earn them in the order they open up to you, and shows you how to run them all together. Fresh out of the tutorial? Read Getting started first.

Learn the two market rules

What you can farm can’t be bought: you sell it. The shop (/shop) only sells what no pit gives: glass, buckets, ice, starter seeds. Everything else, you harvest and sell back. On its shelves, an item tagged “Can’t be bought: farm it” tells you exactly that (the shop).

The shop buys back for less than it sells. Buying to resell is losing. Your prestiges and your season rank raise your resale price: the further you get, the more the same harvest pays (block values).

To sell, two moves: /sell all empties your inventory of everything the shop buys back, or go see the Seller at the spawn.

Farming by hand stays your best income. Your factories are your overnight money. Play, and let them run while you sleep.

Start at the spawn pit

Your first paycheck comes out of the spawn pit. It renews regularly with a fresh piece of the world. Coal sits at the top, diamond and emerald at the bottom. Everything you break goes straight to your inventory, and your Miner job pays you for every block.

Sometimes a budding amethyst comes off whole. Keep it: placed on your island, it grows crystals.

Several times an hour, a pit event shakes the mine, always announced ahead of time: Core of the Pit, Meteor Shower, Rush, Golden Pickaxe, XP Rain, Earthquake, Buried Chests. Each one has its move: hit the Core all together, run for the meteors, mine by hand during the Golden Pickaxe. That is where ore Cores drop, so be there.

Keep your four jobs running

Your jobs pay you for every action, all at once: Woodsman, Miner, Farmer, Hunter. Nothing to pick, everything counts. Mix up what you do and they climb together.

  • Tiers. At certain levels, each job earns a reward: a Core, a factory, a rare item. It is never handed to you: open /jobs and click the one that glows, or “Claim all”.
  • Rare items. Every block, log, crop or mob can drop its job’s rare resource: Elementium (Farmer), orichalcum (Miner), sap (Woodsman), ichor (Hunter). The Farmer also finds casino tokens.
  • The Blacksmith. At /forgeron, those resources become gears for your factories and job armor. Each piece adds XP and Rinacoins to the job it dresses: wear it while you work (the Blacksmith).
  • Global XP. All the experience from your jobs also fills a separate counter. It buys boosters, Elementium bars, a blank blueprint, a reset of your ONE CHUNK. The surplus converts into Rinacoins, with no limit (the Global XP Shop).

The higher a job, the stronger it gets: the Miner breaks faster, doubles drops and follows veins, the Farmer replants by itself.

A block placed by a player never pays a job. Placing to break earns nothing. Crops, though, pay on every harvest.

Start your farms

On your island, a ripe crop pays the Farmer, even replanted by hand. The higher your Farmer level, the faster what you plant grows, and the Crop Growth upgrade speeds your field up even more (upgrades).

Farms that work: cactus, sugar cane and berries, which a high-level Farmer replants on its own. An amethyst geode, clay under a stalactite, growing stalactites. And your ONE CHUNK, your private pit north of your island, renewed regularly: your veins, nobody else’s.

Put your factories to work

A factory produces day and night, even when you are offline. Its stock holds a day: once full, it stops. Swing by and empty it every day.

There are four kinds of factories:

  • The Forge, your first, which comes with your island (the Forge).
  • The Quarry: ores, like the Forge.
  • The Sawmill: it eats logs and turns out level blocks for your island.
  • The Mob Pit: real mobs to hit, and their loot. Its AFK post hits for you, but only your hits by hand fill the rage. Once it is full, the mob comes back as a giant: multiplied loot, and sometimes a Core.

New factories come with your prestiges, your job tiers and the Battle Pass. One factory per chunk of your island, and how many you can have is the Factory Count upgrade.

Grow them in this order:

  1. Give it a Core. A fresh Quarry or Forge only makes coal. A Core unlocks an ore for good, in that factory. Then you pick what it makes. The more an ore is worth, the slower it comes.
  2. Raise its level. Every level changes the machine and speeds up production. The last levels also ask for Primordial Gears, forged at /forgeron from any job’s rare resources.
  3. Build its tower. Blocks of what it makes, placed in its chunk, speed it up. The curve has a cap: past it, one more block does nothing.
  4. Buy “Factory Speed”. This island upgrade speeds up all your factories at once.

A Core never drops from a broken ore. It comes from Miner tiers, pit events, the casino, bosses and the giant of your Mob Pit.

Aim for spawners

Two Quarries at max level fuse into a Rare spawner (spawners). It draws random ores day and night, even when you are away. Your Cores are given back. Place your spawners against each other: they form a stack.

Then pour Primordial Gears into the stack’s gauge. Each spawner climbs to Epic, then Legendary: it draws more often and finds more emeralds, diamonds and ancient debris. That is the big income of the late season.

Sell smarter, sell everywhere

  • The Void Chest sells whatever goes in by itself, at the shop price. The Cyber Hopper sucks up dropped items from its whole chunk and pushes them into the chest it faces. Put the two together and your farm sells itself (devices).
  • The Auction House (/ah) sells to other players even while you are away. Hold your stack and type /ah sell followed by your price. A tax is taken, coins arrive even offline, and whatever is sold, withdrawn or expired waits in /ah coffre (the Auction House).
  • Check the Auction House before you buy. Players sell their surplus there, sometimes cheaper than the shop, plus items the shop doesn’t sell.
  • Trading (/trade) passes items hand to hand, confirmed by both players (trading). /payer sends Rinacoins to anyone (paying a player).
  • The Bag holds whole stacks: right-click it in hand to open it. More room means more time mining before you go sell (the Bag).

Grab the server’s bonuses

  • The Daily (/quotidien): the chest of the day, then challenges that pay in Rinacoins and experience (The Daily).
  • The Logbook (/carnet): every quest pays its Rinacoins (the Logbook).
  • Micro events: every hour, a race against the whole server. Gold Rush, Miracle Catch, Timber!, Miner’s Fever, Great Harvest, Carnage… The podium flips the most cards, but every participant flips some (micro events).
  • The casino: token in hand, right-click the machine for a spin (the casino). The Croupier’s gamble turns one item into a more precious one, with the house keeping its cut (the gamble).
  • The Dragon Mine (/mine): every ore there pays Rinacoins straight away, and its upgrades are bought for good. When the dragon wakes up, PvP opens and dying costs you your inventory (the Dragon Mine).

Stack it all in the right order

  • Your first hours: the spawn pit, /sell all, your Forge, the kit and the chest of the day.
  • Next: your ONE CHUNK, your first farms, a Core in your Forge, your first Auction House sale.
  • Through your prestiges: new factories, their towers, Factory Speed, your job armor, a Void Chest.
  • Late season: spawners, the Dragon Mine, the bosses. The rest is in Endgame.

Dodge what ruins you

  • The gamble. In the long run, the house wins. Never stake your savings.
  • A full factory. Full stock, lost production.
  • Kit items. They sell neither at /shop nor through /sell all. Keep them or trade them.
  • Buying to resell. The shop always buys back for less than it sells.
