Factories
Factories in skyblock: the Quarry, Sawmill, Mob Pit and Forge. Place them, pick what they make, collect, then grow their tower and their level.

Factories work for you while you farm, explore or sleep. Each one is a real animated machine standing on your island, growing with every level, from a rustic shack to an industrial complex. There are four: the Quarry, the Sawmill, the Mob Pit and your Forge.
Getting one
A factory comes as an item. You earn them from your jobs’ tiers, prestige rewards and the battle pass. The Forge is given to every island.
Placing it
Aim at your island’s ground with the item and right click: the machine rises out of the ground, facing you. The rules:
- One factory per chunk, fully inside your island, with free space for its size.
- How many you can have is set by your island’s Factory Count upgrade (/is up), Forge included.
- Every level makes the machine bigger: leave some room around it.
Its screen
Click the machine:
- The machine on the left, at its level. Right click it to pick it up.
- The silo in the middle fills up with what it makes. One click collects everything, in a cascade of sounds.
- The tower on the right: a click shows you its chunk.
- The production panel: the resource it makes, yours to choose.
- The gold key: the upgrade preview.
A factory runs day and night, even offline. Its stock has a limit: once full, it stops until your next collect. Come collect often.
The Quarry
It makes ores, like the Forge. Brand new, it only makes coal: every other ore unlocks with its Core (two clicks on its slot in the production panel), for good, in that quarry. The rarer the ore, the more it’s worth and the slower it is. At max level, two quarries fuse into a spawner: see spawners.
The Sawmill
It eats logs and makes level blocks: bee nest, mushroom stem, mangrove roots, bookshelf, shroomlight, creaking heart. Drop the logs its recipe needs into its reserve with a left click, take them back with a right click. Out of logs, it stops: the label reads “Out of logs”.
Its blocks come out marked: they shine, and only they count toward your island level. The same bookshelf crafted by hand doesn’t count.
The Mob Pit
Real mobs wait in its pen, stacked, one per kind: you have to hit them. Each blow takes out several at once, with their loot and experience, which pile up in its chest. It pays your Hunter like a real hunt.
- Its mobs unlock with your prestige: zombie, skeleton and farm animals first, then spider, creeper, slime, witch… all the way to the wither skeleton. A locked mob shows the prestige that opens it.
- A member has to be on the island for it to produce. With nobody around, it goes “Paused”.
- The Guard Post: stand on it and the pit strikes for you, with the weapon in your hand. Only hits by hand fill the rage.
- Rage: keep killing by hand and the gauge fills up until the mob comes back as a giant, a boss to take down by hand: multiplied loot, and sometimes a Core.
- XP vials: the pit sometimes leaves some in its chest. Drink them with a right click for your prestiges.
- Each era has its own event (the fire, the generator, the reactor): pull it off and the pit speeds up.
The tower
The Quarry and the Forge speed up with a tower of their ore’s blocks placed in their chunk, the Sawmill with a woodpile of its recipe’s logs. Each tower tier adds a layer of particles, up to a cap. The Mob Pit has no tower.
Upgrading
The gold key opens the preview: the current machine, the next one in large, the price and the requirements, ticked or crossed out. Beyond the first levels, you also need Primordial Gears from the Blacksmith. Your island’s Factory Speed upgrade speeds up every machine at once.
Picking up
Right click the machine in its screen, or sneak + left click the machine, then confirm. It folds up and leaps into your hands, keeping its level. Its stock comes back to you; whatever doesn’t fit stays inside the item, returned the next time you place it. A picked-up pit’s mobs are lost.
Factories are your night shift, farming by hand is still your best income. Collect them when you arrive, get them going again, and head out to farm.
