Block values
Block values in skyblock: where shop prices come from, why selling pays less than buying, loot rarity, and what really counts toward your island level.

Every block and item on SkyBlock has a value in Rinacoins. It sets what the shop charges you and what it pays you back, what your spawners earn when you sell their stock, and what your stake is worth at the gamble. Knowing values means knowing what to farm.
Where to read it
Open /shop and click any item: its card shows the buy price per unit, the sell price per unit, its rarity and, for a level block, how many island levels it gives. Your sell bonus (prestige and rank) is written right underneath.
The rules
- The harder to get, the more it’s worth. Coal is worth less than iron, iron less than diamond, all the way up to ancient debris. The deeper you dig in the spawn’s mine, the bigger your haul.
- Selling always pays less than buying. The shop never buys an item back at the price it sells it: buying to resell gets you nothing.
- What you can farm can’t be bought. Ores, mob loot, wood, wool: they all sell, but no stall sells them. The only way to get them is to farm them, or to buy from a player at the Auction House.
- Crafting doesn’t make money. Anything from the crafting table or the stonecutter (slabs, stairs, walls, cut blocks) never sells for more than its ingredients, and a cooked meal never for more than what went into it. What you earn, you earn by farming.
- Mob loot has a rarity, from Common to Mythic, written on its card. Rarer loot is always worth more than more common loot.
- A renamed, damaged or filled item doesn’t sell. Only the item as the game hands it out counts.
Value doesn’t make your level
Watch out for the classic trap: placing expensive blocks on your island does not raise its level. Your island level only counts level blocks placed in a stack: the ones from the shop’s Is Level Blocks tab, the marked blocks that come out of a Sawmill, the reward blocks from your jobs, and the Stone of the Four Jobs from the Blacksmith. Each one’s card says how many levels it gives. Hay gives the most levels for every coin you spend.
Raising your sell price
- Every prestige adds a sell bonus, for good.
- Your rank adds its own.
- A sell booster from the XP shop stacks on top for a while.
These bonuses add up, so the same harvest pays more and more as the season goes on. A cap still holds them back: a sell price never catches up with the buy price.
Before choosing what a factory makes or what you’re going to farm, compare sell prices in /shop. The priciest resource is also the slowest to produce: go for the one that pays best for your time.
