Micro-events
Skyblock micro-events: quick races for the whole server, bronze, silver and gold tiers, a podium, and podium cards to flip that are packed with prizes.

At fixed times, the whole server goes racing. The most fish, logs, blocks mined, Rinacoins earned, mobs taken down. A panel on the right of your screen tracks the standings live, the bronze, silver and gold medals unlock one by one, and at the end, the podium flips cards packed with prizes. Short, intense, and everyone can win something.
When they happen
- Several times a day, always at the same minute past the hour, as soon as enough players are online.
- At the end of each micro-event, the chat tells you when the next one starts.
- The challenge is drawn at random, never the same one twice in a row.
- You play wherever you are: on your island, in the spawn pit, at the PvP warp. Nothing to join, no command to type.
How it plays out
- The announcement. A horn sounds and the EVENT panel appears on the right of your screen: the challenge’s name, its goal, the countdown. The chat gives the tiers and what first place wins.
- The rules. Just before the start, the panel sums them up in three lines.
- 3, 2, 1, GO!
- The race. The panel shows the top 3, your place and your progress bar towards the three medals. Each tier rings a bell. When you move up, take the lead or get passed, your screen tells you. The final seconds are counted down.
- The result. The podium drops into the chat, with your place and your prize.
The challenges
- Gold Rush: earn the most Rinacoins by playing (job pay, golden finds, casino, rewards). What you spend is taken off. Sales, the island bank and transfers don’t count.
- Miracle Catch: catch the most fish (cod, salmon, tropical fish, pufferfish).
- Timber!: chop the most logs by hand.
- Miner’s Fever: mine the most blocks by hand, on your island or in the spawn pit.
- Great Harvest: harvest the most crops by hand.
- Jack of All Trades: earn the most job XP by hand, all jobs combined.
- Carnage: kill the most pit mobs with your own hands, in your pit or the spawn’s. The AFK post doesn’t count.
- Manhunt: kill the most players at the PvP warp. The same victim only counts once, a member of your island never.
- Marathon: travel the most blocks on foot. Flying, elytra, mounts, boats, water and teleports don’t count.
And one special date: Ignaroth’s Fury. During the fight against Ignaroth at the PvP warp, whoever deals the most damage to the dragon wins the race.
Tiers
Every challenge has three tiers: bronze, silver and gold. They adjust themselves to the scores of the last round of the same challenge: the stronger the server, the harder gold is to earn. The highest tier you reach pays you Rinacoins at the end, even if you logged off in the meantime.
Podium cards
At the end, everyone who scored gets cards to flip. First place flips the most, then second and third, and every other participant gets a few.
- Five face-down cards line up. Click one to flip it: it flies to the middle, climbs the grades, turns over and bursts. Its grade, from the humblest to the craziest: ordinary, decent, nice, superb, JACKPOT.
- Each card hides several prizes: Rinacoins, XP, useful blocks, boosters, Casino Tokens, Elementium Bars, and very rarely a treasure chest key.
- The Rinacoins on the cards grow with your best job level.
- The cards you didn’t flip are revealed at the end: you see what you could have won.
- One click during an animation skips it.
The screen opens on its own after the challenge, unless you’re mid-fight or in another menu. Your cards then wait for you: click [Flip them] in the chat, or type /cards. You’re also reminded of them when you log in.
Tip: the announcement gives you time to get in position. Pickaxe in hand at the edge of the pit for Miner’s Fever, rod ready by the water for Miracle Catch. And even far from the podium, score at least one point: every participant gets cards to flip.
