The Dragon Mine
The SkyBlock Dragon Mine: every ore pays in Rinacoins, the dragon's anger switches PvP on, and the week's top miners take home the prizes.

In a world of its own, two craters drowned in forest frame a cavern. At the bottom, a red dragon sleeps, curled up on its gold. This is the Dragon Mine: here an ore doesn’t drop an item, it pays you straight in Rinacoins. You mine, the money rolls in. But every swing of the pickaxe wakes the beast a little more.
Getting there
- Type /mine, or talk to the red-bearded dwarf at the spawn, north of the plaza, between the Colosseum and the Dimensions NPC.
- The Dragon Mine menu opens on three slabs: This week’s board, Go to the mine and Upgrades.
- Go to the mine teleports you after a short countdown. Don’t move and don’t take a hit, or the trip is cancelled.
- Hover Go to the mine before you leave: PVP OFF in red or PVP ON in green, the dragon’s anger, and how many players are inside.
Mine for gold
- Every ore you break drops its Rinacoins into your balance, with a chime that rises with its value. From coal to emerald, the rarer the ore, the more it pays.
- No item, no orb: your inventory stays clean.
- A mined spot turns into bedrock, then grows back shortly after. The tunnels never run dry.
- Your miner job counts every ore.
Upgrades
In Upgrades, you buy levels with Rinacoins. They’re yours for good and only work inside the mine. Every active bonus shows at the bottom left of your screen, with its level.
- Mining: Haste (you mine faster), Fortune (a chance of extra Rinacoins), Vein (a chance an ore pays double).
- Combat: Strength, Resistance, Vitality (extra hearts).
- Comfort: Smelting (iron, gold and copper pay more), Night vision, Speed.
The dragon’s anger
Every ore mined, by anyone, fills a shared gauge: the Dragon’s anger. Track it on the mine’s badge at the top left of your screen, and on the plaque above the altar.
- The gauge is full. The whole server is warned. One of the dragon’s eyes starts to flicker.
- Someone wakes it. Right-click the altar, the brown block at the foot of the throne facing the dragon, then Wake the dragon.
- The countdown. It shows on every miner’s screen: time to leave, or to get ready.
- PVP ON. The dragon’s eyes light up, it growls and breathes fire. For a while, dying in the mine costs you your inventory. You keep your levels.
- It falls back asleep. PvP ends, the anger starts again from zero, and everyone mines in peace.
During PvP, one hit puts you in combat: no commands, no way out, and logging out kills you. Flight is cut. Around the arrival point, nobody can hit you. Outside PvP, dying costs you nothing.
Tip: before heading down, leave your precious gear in your island chest. If the gauge is nearly full, you know what’s coming.
The weekly board
- Every ore mined in the mine gives you a point on This week’s board.
- The board resets every Monday. The best miners win a prize: Rinacoins, Elementium Bars, and for the top of the podium a Treasure Chest or Knight’s Treasure key.
- Your prize waits on the board: click it to claim, with room in your inventory.
