The Explorer's Logbook
The Explorer's Logbook, the SkyBlock quest line: four chapters, your goal always on screen, rewards for every quest and a new rank for every chapter.

Not sure what to do next? The Logbook is. It’s the mode’s quest line: optional, at your own pace, and doable solo from start to finish. It opens by itself at the end of the tutorial and sticks with you: your next goal is always on screen.
Opening it
/quests(or/journal,/objectives).- The “Logbook” key in your island menu, or its medallion on the astrolabe.
Four chapters, four ranks
Each chapter you finish gives you a rank and a gift:
- First Steps: you become a Seeker, and you get a casino token.
- The Apprentice: you become an Apprentice, with a Lapis Core for your factories.
- The Journeyman: you become a Journeyman, with Elementium Bars.
- The Master: you become a Scholar, and walk away with a dragon egg.
The next chapter opens once only a few quests are left in the one before. A quest that blocks you never locks the rest. Some quests stay hidden until a condition is met (a prestige, a factory…): the Logbook tells you which.
The path screen
- At the top, the four chapter medals (bronze open, emerald done, grey locked) and the bar of the current chapter.
- The card: the quest you’re tracking, big, with its short goal and its gauge.
- The path: every quest of the chapter, cell after cell, then the chapter gift. Gold: tracked. Brown: to do. Green with a tick: done. Padlock: hidden.
- Click a cell to track its quest, or to read again the lesson of a finished one.
- A quest finished since your last visit gets celebrated once: the cell shakes, flashes, turns green under confetti, and the stamp lands on its icon.
Your goal on screen
Under your profile panel, a GOAL panel shows the tracked quest: a counter, a bar, and the sentence telling you what to do. When it’s done, the next one takes its place on its own.
/quests follow <quest>to track another one./quests unfollowto track nothing.
It shows you the way
- Every goal is one clear sentence, clickable in the chat: the click runs the right command.
- The green ring: in menus, it circles the button to click for your quest.
- At the spawn, a firefly trail leads you to the next stop.
- [Why?]: when the game refuses you something (a missing Core, a prestige you can’t afford yet, a world still locked), click it to read the explanation. Or
/quests why <quest>.
The spawn tour
One of the first quests has you discover three spots at the spawn by actually using them, in order: the casino (the Logbook hands you a token near the cabinet), the leaderboards, then a mob pit. The GPS walks you there, stop by stop.
Rewards
- Every quest pays Rinacoins, which grow with your job level. Big quests pay more than small ones.
- Some also give items, and the big summits hand out sell boosters and job experience boosters.
- A finished quest fits on one line in the chat: its title, its Rinacoins, its gifts. The lesson shows on hover.
Tip: the first quests of each chapter are quick. Knock them out first: the chapter counter goes up and you open the next chapter sooner.
Good to know
- Nothing counts during the tutorial or in Creative.
- A member of an island without the right a quest asks for? It’s validated as soon as the game shows you the refusal, with a smaller reward. The owner can give you that right in the island settings.
- For goals that change every day, there’s also the Daily.
