Jobs

Jobs in skyblock: miner, woodsman, farmer and hunter level up together. Wages, level bonuses, combo, golden finds, tier rewards and Paths.

Jobs are the engine of SkyBlock. You have four of them, all active at the same time, nothing to pick: the Miner when you mine, the Woodsman when you chop wood, the Farmer when you harvest, the Hunter when you kill mobs. Every move pays you in experience and Rinacoins, and every level makes your job faster, more generous, stronger.

How to open them

  • /jobs opens the jobs hall: one banner per job, with its card, level, wage and bonuses.
  • The Jobs button in your island menu takes you there too.
  • Your four levels stay on screen, top right.

Under each banner, the trophy opens the job’s tiers and shows that job’s top 10 players, plus what you need to climb one spot. The key next to it opens the earnings: what each block or mob pays at your level.

Every move pays

A block mined, a log, a ripe crop, a mob: the experience goes to the matching job, with its wage in Rinacoins that climbs every level. A bar above your hotbar tracks your job live. Pause for a few seconds and it turns into your session Recap: the XP, Rinacoins and global XP you earned roll by before your eyes.

Every level you pass pays a bonus, drawn at random: sometimes doubled, sometimes much more, and now and then the jackpot. The big milestones are announced to the whole server.

A block placed by a player never pays: only what grows, regenerates or spawns counts. A crop pays when it’s ripe.

The combo

Farm without stopping and your combo climbs: Warmed Up, In Rhythm, Frenzy, then Trance, the MAX COMBO. Each tier adds a bonus to the Rinacoins your job pays you, and every action plays a note that keeps rising. You get a short break for free; past that, the bar blinks, then drains bit by bit. Get back to farming and it stops dead.

Golden finds

While you farm, a golden find pops up now and then, just for you. Hit it several times before it disappears:

  • Miner: a Vein Core bursts out of the rock, bristling with crystals.
  • Woodsman: an Ancient Tree, the whole tree turns to gold.
  • Farmer: a Golden Pumpkin grows where your crop was.
  • Hunter: a Champion, the nearest mob grows and shines.

It pays Rinacoins, loot, sometimes job resources. Its rarity goes from Common to Mythic: a legendary one is announced to your island, a mythic one to the whole server, along with your job’s mythic block (Heart of the Star, Seed of the First Tree, Eternal Golden Sheaf, Champion’s Trophy).

Job bonuses

Each job unlocks its bonuses as it levels up, and each one grows with your level.

  • Miner: Swift Pick (you break blocks faster), Double Loot, Steady Hand (your tool takes no wear), Prospector (stone drops an ore), Job Wage, Triple Loot, Vein (the whole vein at once).
  • Woodsman: Double Loot, Steady Hand, Foraging (an apple, honey or a golden apple), Job Wage, Triple Loot, Felling and Second Wind.
  • Farmer: replants on his own, then Double Harvest, Fertilizer (nearby crops grow a stage), Windfall (golden carrot, glistering melon slice, golden apple), Job Wage, Triple Harvest, Harvest (nearby ripe crops in one go).
  • Hunter: Sharp Blade, Thick Skin, Bloodthirst (health back on every kill), Hunting Trophy (iron, gold, emerald, diamond), Job Wage, Finishing Blow, Carnage (matching mobs around fall with it).

The Woodsman’s Felling is a skill: sneak and right click a tree with an axe in hand. For a while, every tree you cut falls whole. Then it recharges.

Tiers and their rewards

Each job has its reward tiers: ore Cores, factories, casino tokens, job resources, hay and level blocks, boosters. They’re never handed out on their own: open the tiers (the trophy under the banner), click the glowing reward, or hit Claim all.

Rare resources

Every action can drop its job’s resource: Elementium Bar (farmer), Orichalcum Shard (miner), Drop of Millennial Sap (woodsman), Ichor Vial (hunter). The farmer also finds casino tokens. These resources are forged at the Blacksmith into Primordial Gears and job armor.

Paths

Your job’s talent tree: at certain levels, you choose between two powers. Line up all four choices on one side and its Seal lights up. The Woodsman’s Path of the Hatchet is open: the Flying Axe thrown at a distant tree, Domino, Fury, Broken Bark and the Seal of the Tempest. The other Paths are coming soon. /jobs paths opens the tree; your first change of mind is free.

Mix up what you do. Your four jobs level up together, and each one has its own bonuses, rewards and rare resource to unlock. Follow the Daily challenge or the event of the moment.
