The starter island
What's waiting on your SkyBlock starter island: the Forge, the camp, the farm, the portal islet and its broken bridge, then your very own ONE CHUNK.

Your starter island is small, but nothing on it is there by chance. Every corner has a job in your first hours, and the tutorial makes you touch every one of them.
The grand tour
- The Forge, your first factory: a machine that makes ores on its own, even while you’re offline. Every new island gets one. The full story is on the Forge page.
- The home, in the northern half, facing south. That’s where
/istakes you. - The camp: a crafting table, a furnace and a chest. The chest comes stocked with a small village loot the moment the island is born. Open it before you head out.
- The farm: enough for your first harvests, melons, pumpkins and sugar cane included.
- The portal islet, to the north-west, linked to the island by a bridge… that has collapsed. The tutorial hands you the stones to rebuild it. At the far end, a rune portal and its console take you to the spawn.
The ONE CHUNK
At the end of the tutorial, your Forge gives out in a burst of energy. That energy brings your ONE CHUNK to life, north of your island: a real piece of the world, all yours, with its stone, its ores and its trees.
- It renews itself at regular intervals. Its plaque shows the time left before the next draw. If you’re inside when it happens, you’re sent back home.
- It sits just past your starting border. The first Island Size upgrade puts it within reach.
- Want a fresh ONE CHUNK right now? The Global XP Shop sells a reset, and a Genesis Shard shattered inside brings it back on the spot.
It’s your second source of blocks, a few steps from your home, on top of the spawn pit.
Tip: go for the first Size upgrade as soon as you can. It opens up the ONE CHUNK: mining without leaving your island, refilling while you do something else.
Three looks, one island
When it’s created, you pick its theme: Classic (grass, stone and a cherry tree), Aether (above the clouds) or Boreal (the Far North). The layout stays the same: the Forge, the camp, the farm and the portal are in the same spots. Only the look changes.
What’s next
Your starter island is only the beginning. Upgrades push its border back, the island level climbs the leaderboard, and more factories join the Forge.
- Getting started: what to do, in order.
- Growing your island: what comes after.
