Cyber Hopper and Void Chest

The Cyber Hopper sucks up its whole chunk, the Void Chest sells on its own at /shop prices, even offline: the two SkyBlock devices that automate your island.

Two devices that keep your island working without you. The Cyber Hopper picks up everything lying on the ground, the Void Chest turns everything that falls into it into Rinacoins. Chain them together and your farm collects, sells and pays you while you’re somewhere else.

Getting them

They’re real game blocks, marked: a device can’t be made at a crafting table and is never used as an ingredient.

The Cyber Hopper

  • It sucks up the items on the ground across its whole chunk, not just what falls on top of it.
  • It moves them in full stacks into the container it faces: chest, barrel, hopper, shulker box, dropper or dispenser.
  • One per chunk.
  • It goes on your island only (not in its Nether or End), and it counts toward your hopper limit.
  • Like a hopper, it pauses when it gets a redstone signal.

The Void Chest

Whatever goes in is sold on its own, at the /shop resale price, with your resale bonus (prestige and grade) and your sell booster if one is running. The Rinacoins are paid out to you regularly, even while you’re offline: the chest remembers your bonus.

  • Above it, an orb of crying obsidian slowly turns, and a plaque shows who placed it, what it has earned since, what it’s bringing in right now, and whether auto-sell is on. Every sale pops a golden “+…”.
  • Right-click: its settings.
    • Auto-sell: on or off.
    • Sell now: everything the filter lets through, right away.
    • Destroy unsellables: destroys what the /shop doesn’t buy back. Never a named or enchanted item, or one the /shop sells.
    • Filter: no filter, sell only these items, or never sell these items. Click an item in your inventory to add it.
  • It also swallows whatever is lying on the ground across its whole chunk.
  • Void loot: a mob falling into the void through the chest’s chunk leaves its loot to it, as if a player had killed it (a way to get the rare drops), but without the Looting enchantment and without experience.
  • It goes on your island, in its Nether and in its End. It always stays a single chest.

Good to know

  • A device keeps its settings when you break it: put it back down somewhere else, just as it was.
  • No explosion destroys them.
  • The Void Chest pays whoever placed it (the island owner if that person has left).

Tip: the perfect combo is a Cyber Hopper sitting on a Void Chest. The hopper collects the whole chunk, the chest sells it all, and your farm pays you even while you’re logged off.
